Detox and Fasting

These two words can be quite intimidating and scary.  In reality, they are incredibly helpful in promoting your overall health.  

 

Fasting “to abstain from food all food” is the definition in Websters Dictionary.  There are a few different ways to approach fasting.  I prefer these two options. They are safe and fairly easy for most people.

 

Intermittent fasting - cyclical for 12-18 hours 

 

Time restricted fasting - abstain from eating for 12 - 16 hours

 

16/8 - Abstain for 16 hours eat during 8 hour window.
